Faith Christian Lions (Yuba City, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA), 3-2 in a non-league test.

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Patriots enter the Sacramento Metropolitan challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills got by Westlake Charter (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Paradise Bobcats (Paradise, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 3-1 league loss to Winters (Winters, CA).
