Ohio High School Volleyball - First Baptist Christian overwhelmed by Wellington

September 15, 2025: Wellington, OH 44090

Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting First Baptist Christian Sabres (Elyria, OH), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wellington advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Dukes travel to Keystone (La Grange, OH) to face the Wildcats in a Lorain County test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Keystone won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH)

Next, the Sabres play the Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH) in a Lake Effect challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. First Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH).
