Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball team run past the visiting Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now have a 14-2 record. They play next when they host East Henderson for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, September 16. Franklin will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-12.

The Black Knights (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers go into the Smoky Mountain 1A/2A game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Rosman gained a win over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
