Mississippi High School Volleyball - Magee tips Richland
September 15, 2025: Magee, MS 39111 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Magee Trojans (Magee, MS) and the visiting Richland Rangers (Richland, MS), observed Magee's volleyball team hold off Richland by a count of 3-2.
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Jaguars go into the Class 3A Region 6 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Jefferson Davis County was edged by Seminary (Seminary, MS), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Rangers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest for a Class 4A Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 18. Richland will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Raymond (Raymond, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-9.
