Arizona High School Volleyball - Mohave tips Yuma

September 15, 2025: Bullhead City, AZ 86442

In Monday's non-league test, the host Mohave Thunderbirds volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Yuma Criminals.

With the win, Mohave improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ) to meet the Bears in a 4A - Grand Canyon challenge on Wednesday, September 17. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Bradshaw Mountain won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ)

In their next game, the Criminals face the Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 18. Yuma will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Aztecs go into the test with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ).
