In Friday's league game, the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) football team tipped the visiting Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), by a final score of 34-28.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes come into the Tri-Valley - Central game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Garber was tipped by Freeland (Freeland, MI), 45-7, in a league game.

The Panthers now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Swan Valley for a Tri-Valley - Central game on Friday, September 23. Alma will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 48-13 non-league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
