The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Sterlington was beaten by Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA), 52-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Cowboys now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Natchitoches Central for a 5A District 1 challenge on Friday, September 23. Southwood will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 54-6 non-league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-2.
