In Friday's league match, the visiting Centennial Chargers football squad scored a good 45-20 victory over the Champaign Central Maroons.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a Big Twelve match, on Friday, September 23. Centennial will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 28-14 league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, IL).
