The Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) football overcame the visiting Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX), 45-21 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Matadors clash with the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. Parkland will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 38-7 non-league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX).
