Michigan High School Football - Concord nips Maple Valley
September 16, 2022: Concord, MI 49237 The Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) football nudged the visiting Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI), 18-16 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Vandercook Lake Jayhawks (Jackson, MI) in a Tri-River (8-Man) bout, on Saturday, September 24. Concord will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Jayhawks enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Britton Deerfield (Britton, MI).
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against NorthPointe Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Mustangs enter the Tri-River (8-Man) bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, NorthPointe Christian held off Morenci (Morenci, MI), 65-0, in a league bout.
