The Thunder Ridge Longhorns football team (Kensington, KS), was beaten 48-22 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hill City Ringnecks (Hill City, KS)

The Ringnecks (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rawlins County (Atwood, KS). The Buffaloes come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Rawlins County achieved victory over Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS), 52-32, in a non-league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Logan/Palco for a Western Kansas Liberty (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 23. Thunder Ridge will meet a team coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Lakeside (Downs, KS). The record now stands at 1-2.
