The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights (Tuscaloosa, AL) and the visiting Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), observed Tuscaloosa Academy's football squad defeat Lamar County by a count of 34-7.

The Knights now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to University Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, September 23. Tuscaloosa Academy will encounter a Trail Blazers squad coming off a 30-6 league loss to Keith (Orrville, AL). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Berry Wildcats (Berry, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 16. Lamar County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 62-0 league loss to Pickens County (Reform, AL).
