September 16, 2022: Salyersville, KY 41465 The Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) football routed the host Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY), 58-26 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. Lawrence County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 39-14 non-league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).
The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates enter the 3A District 8 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Belfry was crushed by Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 48-13, in a non-league bout.
