The Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) football nudged the visiting Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 34-31 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL) in a 7A Region 3 bout, on Friday, September 30. Tuscaloosa County will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 36-7 league loss to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL).

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Briarwood Christian was nudged by Pelham (Pelham, AL), 35-34, in a league bout.
