Maryland High School Football - Southern drops to Seaford
September 16, 2022: Harwood, MD 20776 In Friday's non-league game, the Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) football team knocked off the host Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), by a final score of 41-10.
The Bluejays (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers come into the 1A District 2 game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Polytech toppled First State Military Academy (Clayton, DE), 30-26, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Richard Wright Public Charter School for a non-league game on Friday, September 23. Southern will battle a Spartans team coming off a 48-0 non-league loss to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
