The Skyview Hawks held off the visiting Bishop Gorman Gaels volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hawks now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Canyon for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Skyview will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Trailblazers record now stands at 19-2.

The Gaels (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA). The Bruins enter the non-league test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Woodrow Wilson was nudged by Lakewood (Lakewood, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
