The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) and the visiting Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT), saw New Milford's volleyball squad nip Northwestern Regional by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, New Milford upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Green Wave travel to McMahon (Norwalk, CT) to play the Senators in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 3-0. McMahon won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Weston (Weston, CT)

The Highlanders now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wamogo for a bout on Tuesday, September 20. Northwestern Regional will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
