September 16, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23456 The Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA) volleyball overcame the visiting Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Landstown upgrades its record to 2-8 on the year. The Eagles host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Bruins in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 16. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Western Branch lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA)
The Mustangs now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Norcom for a Eastern outing on Monday, September 18. Manor will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-4.
