The Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN) varsity football team won Saturday's home non-conference game against Washington School for the Deaf (Vancouver, WA) by a score of 28-20.

The Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Washington School for the Deaf Terriers to 20 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utah School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 30.
Coming up next, the Terriers face the Wishkah Valley Loggers (Aberdeen, WA) in a 1B Coastal (6 Man) battle, on Thursday, September 21. Washington School for the Deaf will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Loggers enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 45-21 league loss to Evergreen Lutheran (Tacoma, WA).
