Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 24-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Virginia Episcopal School improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Quantico (Quantico, VA) to confront the Warriors in a Virginia Football (8 Man) test on Saturday, September 23. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 0-4. Quantico lost 48-6 in their recent league game against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA)

The Eagles now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Christchurch School for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Covenant will battle a Seahorses team coming off a 48-7 league win over Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Seahorses record now stands at 2-0.
