Washington High School Soccer - Sumner nudges Tahoma
September 16, 2023: Sumner, WA 98390 Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Sumner will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 league win over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA).
The Bears now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kentlake for a 3A/4A N. Puget Sound (Olympic) challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Tahoma will confront a Falcons team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
