September 16, 2023: Pasadena, CA 91105 The Mayfield Cubs topped the visiting Eagle Rock Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cubs now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence for a test on Tuesday, September 19. Mayfield will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Westridge (Pasadena, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-4.
The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Crescenta Valley gained a win over Pasadena (Pasadena, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
