Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors face the South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) in a WPIAL AA 1 challenge, on Monday, September 18. Elizabeth Forward will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to South Park (South Park, PA).

The Cougars now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Washington for a WPIAL AA 3 challenge on Tuesday, September 19.
