September 16, 2023: Alcester, SD 57001 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Wildcats face the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 16. Northwestern Area will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Scotland (Scotland, SD).
With the loss, Alcester-Hudson moves to 11-4 on the year. The Cubs travel to Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD) to face the Huskies in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 21. The Huskies go into the contest with a record of 7-6.
