September 16, 2023: Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 California Academy of Math & Science Rebels (Carson, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Rebels battle the Wildwood Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coastal match, on Tuesday, September 19. California Academy of Math & Science will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA).
With the loss, Peninsula drops to 7-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Culver City (Culver City, CA) to battle the Centaurs in a Bay match on Tuesday, September 19. The Centaurs come into the match with a record of 14-5. Culver City lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA)
