Iowa High School Volleyball - Nashua-Plainfield tips Clayton-Ridge
September 16, 2023: Nashua, IA 50658 Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Huskies battle the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a Top of Iowa - East match, on Tuesday, September 19. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Bearcats come into the match with a 7-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to AGWSR (Ackley, IA).
With the loss, Clayton-Ridge drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to West Central (Maynard, IA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Upper Iowa match on Tuesday, September 19. The Blue Devils come into the match with a record of 1-8. West Central won 3-2 in their recent league match against Postville (Postville, IA)
