September 16, 2023: Clinton, IA 52732 The Clinton River Kings volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Jefferson Hawks to 0 in the River Kings non-league victory on Saturday.
The River Kings now possess a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davenport Central for a Mississippi game on Saturday, September 16. Clinton will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.
The Hawks (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 14-4 record. In their last game, Assumption defeated Clinton (Clinton, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
