Iowa High School Volleyball - North Butler tips East Buchanan
September 16, 2023: Winthrop, IA 50682 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) and the host East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA), saw North Butler's volleyball squad nip East Buchanan by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, North Butler upgrades its record to 7-13 on the year. The Bearcats travel to West Hancock (Britt, IA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-15.
The Buccaneers now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. East Buchanan will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Denver (Denver, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 10-4.
