September 16, 2023: Falls Church, VA 22043 The George C. Marshall Statesmen volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Star Athletes Academy Stars to 0 in the Statesmen non-league victory on Saturday.
The Statesmen now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. George C. Marshall will confront a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
The Stars (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Victory Charter School (Kissimmee, FL). The Knights enter the game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Victory Charter School dropped by Wakulla (Crawfordville, FL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
