September 16, 2023: Beaverton, OR 97008 The Gresham Gophers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Southridge Skyhawks to 0 in the Gophers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gophers now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barlow for a 6A Mt. Hood game on Tuesday, September 19. Gresham will meet a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 5-2.
The Skyhawks (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Beavers enter the 6A Metro game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Beaverton dropped by St. Mary's Academy (Portland, OR), 2-0, in a non-league game.
