The Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA) varsity volleyball team lost Saturday's home tournament match against Horizon Prep (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) by a score of 2-1.
The Horizon Prep Lions held off the host Tri-City Christian Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Empire for a Frontier -Summit test on Tuesday, September 19. Horizon Prep will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA). The Redhawks record now stands at 4-13.
The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Frogs enter the Ocean test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Guajome Park Academy was nudged by Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
