The Mendon Unity Mustangs volleyball team (Mendon, IL), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL)

The Sabers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Eagles enter the Illini Prairie challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Rantoul was dropped by Centennial (Champaign, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) in a West Central - North challenge, on Monday, September 18. Mendon Unity will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Suns enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over New Berlin (New Berlin, IL).
