Iowa High School Volleyball - North Linn tips Rockford
September 16, 2023: Rockford, IA 50468 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) and the host Rockford Warriors (Rockford, IA), saw North Linn's volleyball squad nip Rockford by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, North Linn upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Lynx travel to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Edgewood-Colesburg lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA)
The Warriors now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Ansgar for a Top of Iowa - East bout on Tuesday, September 19. Rockford will play a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Saints record now stands at 10-6.
