The Woodbine (IA) varsity volleyball team won Saturday's home non-conference match against Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA) by a score of 2-1.
The Woodbine Tigers held off the visiting Siouxland Christian Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ar-We-Va for a Rolling Valley test on Saturday, September 16. Woodbine will confront a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-6.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA). The Falcons enter the Western Valley - North test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove held off AHSTW (Avoca, IA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
