September 16, 2023: Bussey, IA 50044 The WACO Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Twin Cedars Sabers to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Warriors now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danville for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. WACO will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Bears record now stands at 4-8.
The Sabers (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA). The Bulldogs enter the Bluegrass game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Orient-Macksburg dropped by Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
