September 16, 2024: Richmond, VA 23234 The Varina Blue Devils topped the host Meadowbrook Monarchs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 18. Varina will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Mavericks go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA).
The Monarchs (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Royals go into the Central game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Prince George was dropped by Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA), 3-1, in a league game.
