New York High School Football - Canisius crushed by St. Francis
September 16, 2024: Hamburg, NY 14010 St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY), 50-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, St. Francis advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, NY) to play the Legends in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. The Legends go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Lancaster lost 28-14 in their recent non-league battle against Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY)
The Crusaders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jamestown for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Canisius will play a Red & Green team coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Red & Green record now stands at 1-1.
