California High School Flag Football - Troy tops La Mirada
September 16, 2024: Fullerton, CA 92831 The Troy Warriors flag football squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting La Mirada Matadores to 6 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sonora for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. Troy will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 26-19 non-league loss to La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, La Mirada drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Matadores travel to Downey (Downey, CA) to meet the Vikings in a test on Wednesday, September 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 6-2. Downey won 30-12 in their recent non-league test against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)
