September 16, 2024: Bowling Green, KY 42101 The South Warren Spartans soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Barren County Trojans to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Logan County for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 19. South Warren will play a Cougars squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Barren County moves to 6-5 on the year. The Trojans host Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to play the Scotties in a District 15 bout on Thursday, September 19. The Scotties go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Glasgow won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clinton County (Albany, KY)
