September 16, 2024: New Concord, OH 43762 John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, John Glenn advances its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Little Muskies travel to Morgan (McConnelsville, OH) to clash with the Raiders in a Muskingum Valley test on Wednesday, September 18. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-9. Morgan lost 11-0 in their recent league test against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH)
The Quakers now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mansfield Senior for a Ohio Cardinal test on Thursday, September 19. New Philadelphia will clash with a Tygers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mapleton (Ashland, OH). The Tygers record now stands at 4-4.
