September 16, 2024: Kirkwood, MO 63122 Kirkwood Pioneers (Kirkwood, MO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Kirkwood moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Oakville (St. Louis, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Oakville won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Clayton (St. Louis, MO)
The Cadets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Louis University for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Christian Brothers will clash with a Junior Bills team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Junior Bills record now stands at 1-0.
