New York High School Volleyball - Our Lady of Mercy overwhelmed by Wayne
September 16, 2024: Ontario Center, NY 14520 Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wayne advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY) to face the Bombers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Bombers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Monarchs now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aquinas Institute for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Our Lady of Mercy will face a Little Irish squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Little Irish record now stands at 0-1.
