September 16, 2024: Ottawa, KS 66067 Ottawa Cyclones (Ottawa, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ottawa advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS) to clash with the Braves in a Frontier test on Thursday, September 19. The Braves come into the test with a record of 1-3. Bonner Springs lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Spring Hill (Spring Hill, KS)
The Tigers now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host New Heights Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Fort Scott will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
