September 16, 2024: St. Francis, MN 55070 St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Francis advances its record to 5-7 on the season. The Fighting Saints host Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN) to face the Bluejackets in a Mississippi 8 test on Thursday, September 19. The Bluejackets go into the test with a record of 4-7.
The Eagles now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Apollo will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
