September 16, 2024: Des Lacs, ND 58733 Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Des Lacs-Burlington improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Lakers host Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] (Berthold, ND) to face the Bombers in a B - Region 6 District 12 test on Thursday, September 19. The Bombers go into the test with a record of 5-4. Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Ray (Ray, ND)
The Braves now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williston for a A - West Region test on Tuesday, September 17. Turtle Mountain will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Minot (Minot, ND). The Coyotes record now stands at 3-7.
