September 16, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87121 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), witnessed West Mesa's football squad knock off Cibola by a tally of 14-0.
The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Atrisco Heritage Academy dropped by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 32-14, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Volcano Vista for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. Cibola will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 18-14 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.
