New Jersey High School Soccer - Summit knocks off Elizabeth
September 16, 2025: Elizabeth, NJ 07202 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) and the host Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ), saw Summit's soccer squad triumph over Elizabeth by a final score of 9-2.
With the triumph, Summit moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Knights come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Minutemen now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Governor Livingston for a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. Elizabeth will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 1-1 non-league Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-0.
