The Santa Clara Bruins flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the host Aptos Mariners to 12 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sequoia for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Santa Clara will meet a Ravens squad coming off a 18-12 league loss to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 1-4.
