September 16, 2025: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 The Sherwood Warriors soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils to 2 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paint Branch for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Sherwood will play a Panthers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Springbrook moves to 2-1 on the year. The Blue devils host Blake (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Blake won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Einstein (Kensington, MD)
