In Tuesday's non-league match, the CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA) volleyball squad prevailed the host Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA), by a final score of 2-0.

Next up, the Lynx clash with the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 18. CORE Butte will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA).
